The Compact RIX Stormis a budget friendly thermal inmaging sight that is loaded with great features. The Storm series includes the S2 (256 x 192 resolution) and the S3 (384 x 288 resolution), with both units featuring a 12μm, 50 Hz, NETD <25mK thermal sensor. This sensor, combined with a 25mm (Storm S2) or 35mm (Storm S3) Germanium lens along with a 1024 x 768 OLED display, delivers crisp and consistent imagery.

The Storm is very simple to operate trhanks to thge unique operating systenm and control layout. The Storm series has a intutuive four-button user interface that allows quick access to most functions with a single button press and on screen indication. The buttons are easy to use due to them being raised.

Other notable features of the Storm series include onboard video recording, Wi-Fi, IP67 water ingress protection, resolution enhanced technology, reticle return-to-center function, picture-in-picture, a variety of reticle choices, and iOS and Android mobile app compatibility.

The Storm series is powered by non-proprietary lithium-ion 18650 batteries and provides over six hours of operating time.  A quick detach battery cap allows quick, and effortless swapping in the field.  Additionally, a 5V USB-C port allows for external power for even longer run times.
